mcmoggers Sort of makes me think of that Carpenters song: Calling occupants of interplanetary craft - which was epic. And also like a Kate Bush Album like Aerial mixed together with synthesizers and stuff. Upbeat, catchy and easy to listen to. Favorite track: The Others.

Time To Go 02:38
Hey time to go we can’t wait anymore The trees have all turned yellow someone’s knocking at our door Hey gotta go, I know you don’t feel so well But if we hold out longer then they’ll leave us without help Hey time to go- wake up my honey love The radiation’s flowing and there are bright lights up above Hey gotta go- why won’t you open your eyes? Please don’t leave me solo as we go up to the skies Hey time to go- oh your skin is getting cold I’m sure that they can help us once we leave our little home Hey gotta go they say they’re gonna leave you here Please, honey, repeat what you whispered in my ear Please don’t take me Please don’t take me Please don’t take me Please don’t take me

I don’t know how to float My heart, it seems, is in my throat All I know is that I’m falling down I just saw the Earth from above I just heard your very last call And all I know is that I’m falling As we rise to the heavens here we’re just farther away From what we’ve known and where we’ve gone and where we’re going to stay As we rise to the heavens here I just want to go home I scream and cry and I pull my hair as we touch the brakes and Prepare for Landing Prepare for Landing Prepare for Landing Prepare for Landing The air out here is crystal clear Shining bright you can see the atmosphere Not sure if I’m planted or falling We’ve set down, this is our new town I take it in among the massive crowd Now I know for sure I’m falling As we rise to the heavens here we’re just farther away From what we’ve known and where we’ve gone and where we’re going to stay As we rise to the heavens here I just want to go home I scream and cry and I pull my hair as we touch the brakes and Prepare for Landing Prepare for Landing Prepare for Landing Prepare for Landing

Stop looking at me Stop looking at me Stop looking at me I know that we’re all new here and that you just want a friend But I just lost my bestest one and you won’t replace him As we learn to live up here I can’t be by your side This planet is so different and there’s just not enough time You can’t make me You can’t make me You can’t make me You can’t make me Please don’t make me Please don’t make me Please don’t make me Please don’t make me Who will protect me up here I know I’m all alone…
4.
Outside is the only place I can go Where I see beauty and things I didn’t know I could know And I am going going gone Going going gone Going going gone gone gone It’s the first time I’m happy since I left the below And I miss you, honey, more than I can possibly show But I am going going gone Going going gone Going going gone gone gone If you were here you’d hate it- there are no trees We live in plastic bubbles, lots of stars but no sea Everyone’s going going gone Going going gone Going going gone gone gone One more thing- they line us up just like mass They count our heads just to make sure that the numbers all match To make sure no one’s going going gone Going going gone Going going gone gone gone I think I might go gone for a while I think I might explore for a while… Honey, I think you’d be so proud of me I learned to zip up my space suit all along, it’s a breeze And now I’m going going gone Going going gone Going going gone gone gone
5.
Make Believe 03:25
Once lovely and bright The tears on my cheeks are a picture Of the new thing I must be As I crawl through the dirt and I’m running Please don’t take me If you’d opened your eyes We could be here together exploring The deep purple of night The way that the plants glow in morning Please come find me And how I miss the ocean breeze Up here there’s sand but no birds sing We’ve replicated everything But it’s not real it’s make believe Make believe Make believe We make our air with big machines We grow our food but it’s not green We planted grass so it might seem Like this is home, but it’s Make believe Make believe

Hey time to go don’t know what got into me I took a look around and snuck back in successfully Hey gotta go so much more I wanna see I think I found a creature- something moving in the weeds

When I was young I read some books about the galaxy I read chapter upon chapter of sci-fi and fantasy But way back then we didn’t know what we all do know now How other life was not a threat but humans are all cowards I don’t remember how it happened, but I remember light The sounds of mass explosions and the smell of burning fires I remember screaming, I remember holding you I remember thanking Planet Earth and all we put her through And I don’t know why, no I don’t know why… Now down below is ruined cuz we couldn’t make amends Cuz we’re selfish and we’re stupid and we didn’t think ahead And now we’re trying to re-create what we all had before Everyone’s pretending but I know their hearts are sore Everything is regimented, everything’s on time Everyone is really busy with their new jobs and new lives Whoever is in charge is doing a fantastic job Of keeping us complacent, some have already forgot And I don’t know why, no I don’t know why… And I don’t know why, no I don’t know why… Sorry friends I’m making a mess again Kick up dust I’m making a mess again You told me not to make a mess again There I go making a mess again Everywhere I go Everyone I see No one seems to know What’s really happening…. And I don’t know why, no I don’t know why… And I don’t know why, no I don’t know why…

Something’s out there, just not as we supposed Perched like crows on telephone poles Arms wide open to lure me in As if to say “Give up, my friend” Let’s not pretend Let’s not pretend I can’t see them, but I know they’re there They have something they want to share There’s life, I knew it, in a brand new form Can’t see them but they mean no harm I feel you, I said I’m coming, my friend Preach now, tell me why I’m falling asleep Even though I’m not tired, just inquiring Who’s in charge and why they’re lying? Would you let me go if I did everything your way? Everything your way? Everything your way?

The Others 05:03
I come bearing very good news The Others, they want to meet you Just open your heart and listen That’s all you must do No, you can’t see them, it’s true Hush now and you’ll hear them soon No, I’m not crazy- they found me I brought them to you! Feel them, they hold all the clues Our whole human history, too The secrets to enlightenment We’ve been such fools
10.
How can you leave me here In this big black box where it smells like fear How can you lock me up Just because I saw what you didn’t want Please, just let me out I won’t speak a word, I won’t cry or shout Please, you can trust me now I won’t mention again that there’s strange life around I should have known you would Where are you taking me now It’s so bright out here, I’ve gone so long without Yes, yes you’ve broken me down No I’m not afraid, I’m just all worn out And I should have known you would I’ll keep my head down I’ll keep my head down I’ll keep my head down I’ll keep my head down Please don’t take me…
11.
Nothing’s out there, nothing at all You are gone and I’m alone Machines are breaking, supplies are gone And bombs are being made once more Just like before, just like before…
12.
Hey time to go Don’t mind me while you blow yourselves up again I’m getting out while I can- watch me, here I go It’s been fun but I’m going with the Others now Front row seats as I watch you all destroy yourselves I’d say that I’ll meet you in heaven But I’m up here and besides stars, there’s nothing But I’d rather die in the stars with the Others than with you And you took my heart And you took my love But you won’t take me Good bye

about

Ripped from the arms of her dying love, our protagonist must leave a radioactive Earth and settle into a new government-run colony in a distant galaxy. Faced with her grief in a totalitarian society, she must figure out if the "alien" voices are real, and whether she can keep quiet as humankind once again begins to destroy itself and the new planet...
